Cave Rock - Located off of the Bitter Springs Trail close to the Valley of Fire in Southern Nevada, Cave Rock is a beautiful cave formed out of red sandstone outcroppings. Often times we will do week-end campouts and exploring here. It's also a great place to sneak away to watch the Leonid Meteor showers in mid November. East of Las Vegas, it is far enough from town to have a good view of the sky without light pollution from the city.
