May. 05, 2004 - Hike to Ice Box Canyon - Red Rocks NV

Description:

 Ice Box Canyon - Located in Red Rock Canyon, NV, this is a fun day hike. The trail is approximately 2.5 miles in length round trip. At the end of the trail, there is a water fall (in wet periods) and a swimming hole carved out in the rocks at the bottom of the falls. As a family we love to "stage" fun photos. Here you can see some photos that we staged for fun. The kids are really laying flat on a rock - there is no ledge.
