 St. Thomas - Judy and I belong to the local Land Rover club. This photo set was taken on a club run to St. Thomas, NV. St. Thomas is an old Mormon town that was flooded by Lake Mead back when Hover Dam was built. Normally this town is a good 30-50 feet under water. However, the Southwest has been in a drought for the past seven years with Lake Mead's waters being some 85 feet below normal levels. This is only the second time in 50 years that one can visit St. Thomas on foot without diving tanks.
