If you’ve seen Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth”, you’ll remember the horrific scenes of New York and Florida under water due to melting polar ice caps. In fact, the scenes remind me a lot of the film “Water World,” starring Kevin Costner. If you haven’t seen either film, go rent them then tell me if you don’t think the two are strikingly similar when it gets to the cities under water parts. The one thing that really frustrates me is the patent response I always get from global warming alarmists when I present the abstracts of peer reviewed climate studies that refute their nonsense claims. Oceanographer Wieslaw Maslowski of the Naval Post-Graduate School made a boding prediction recently that we may have hit the Global Warming tipping point which will result in a complete loss of multi-year ice in the Arctic sometime between 2010 and 2016. Last night I was watching a television program on the Science Channel about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s largest particle accelerator, which is being built at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research. It has formerly been held that there is a 98% similarity between humans and chimps based on DNA comparisons.
